It's Destiny!'s own Liza and Tammy continue their coverage of Rock Star: Supernova. Following is Tammy's take on this week's reality episode.

DON'T DREAM IT'S OVER
(Recap by Tammy)

This is the end...the final webisode, my friends. This season of Rock Star seems to have sped by at a frantic pace. I'm not ready to let go just yet. I've become accustomed to having this show in my life three times a week. Life without Rock Star...can we even call that living? Help, I think I need a 12-step program. (Don't worry; some other reality show will rescue us soon enough! 'Dancing with the Stars', anyone? - Liza)

As the rockers gather around the dinner table, they reflect on the competition and their individual journeys. The reality that one of them will soon be the lead singer of Supernova has set in. At the piano, an unsuspecting Magni mournfully sings 'this is what you get', and is the recipient of some cake to the face courtesy of Toby Rand and Dilana. The last drive-by caking! Say it ain't so!

Poolside, the final four are met with an appearance by MiG Ayesa, who just happens to stop by to drop off the keys to Toby's new Hondamobile (perhaps Toby misplaced the keys that were handed to him by Brooke Burke on elimination night?), and suprisingly, brings a bit of 'reality' (heh) to the show by mentioning that their lives post-Rock Star will not be a cakewalk with record deals promptly handed to them as soon as they step out the mansion doors. Or, if they do get a record deal, they could simply be put on the back burner by the label forever (see Unga, Jordis). None of this will be a problem for Lukas Rossi, however, as he interviews that he is there to win, and that he doesn't even want to consider any other option at this stage of the game. Me neither.

After that downer of a visit by MiG (which is terribly ironic considering he was Mr. Sunshine in his season -Liza), the rockers head inside the mansion to find that they each have a picture on the wall taken from one of their performances from the season. The group becomes sentimental, and Magni states that his picture will be on his wall forever. Lukas isn't too keen on his facial expression in his picture and likens his pose taken from his performance of 'Creep' as reminscent of 'The Predator'. Hee! Gotta love that self-deprecating humor. (I was thinking more like Mr. Peepers, but The Predator will do. -Liza)

As the last song selection of the season (sniff!) begins, the final four learn that they will be performing their orginals yet AGAIN (followed by a cheer from them, and a groan from viewers at home), and that they also will have to choose one song from all of those performed the entire season. The Rock Star producers took pity on us, however, and snuck four new covers in the stack, amongst them 'Comfortably Numb' by Pink Floyd, Radiohead's 'Karma Police', and Coldplay's 'Fix You'. As they root through the songs, the rockers take another trip down memory lane as they recall who originally sang the songs on the show. Poor Chris Pierson's version of 'Roxanne' is once again deemed to have been the worst performance ever in the history of television. Toby decides upon 'Karma Police', while Lukas and Dilana both want 'Comfortably Numb'. Toby mentions that since Lukas gave her 'Behind Blue Eyes' last week, it's only right that he gets the song he wants this week. The reasoning seems to have little effect on Dilana, who won't budge. Resident mediator Magni strums a bit of 'Fix You', which is enough to convice Lukas that he could do the song, despite being wary at doing yet another Coldplay cover. A few minutes later, however, Dilana changes her mind yet again and chooses 'Roxanne'. A genuine change of heart, or was she just determined to keep Lukas from dong the song he wanted? It's anyone's guess.

Practicing 'Fix You', with the House Band, Lukas says that the song has a lot of meaning for him, as it reminds him of the relationship he has with his father, and that 'if he happens to hear me, I want him to know that I'm thinking about him, and I'm going to try to fix whatever's broken'. This boy needs a hug. (Thank goodness there isn't another week of song selection or Lukas would be singing "Hound Dog" to his puppy that ran away from home when he was 5. -Liza)

This week Dilana is rearranging 'Roxanne', and promises that she'll show Chris Pierson the right way to do this song. I think Chris is going to have this song follow him to his grave. Paul Mirkovich isn't thrilled with what Dilana is doing to the song (which seems consistent with Paul's general anti-rearranging stance). Dilana is confident that her version will impress Supernova, and given that it's about time for her redemption arc, I tend to agree.

Seemingly taken directly from the script from the last reality episode of last season's Rock Star, the rockers pack up their things while Toby plays 'Comfortably Numb' outside. Foreshadowing, as JD Fortune was given that role last year? With Mark Burnett, anything is possible. (As good as Toby sounded singing that song, I wouldn't mind that at all! -Liza) Suitcases in hand, the group gather before the pool and look back upon the mansion and the past few months of their lives. Lukas, Dilana, and Toby are all featured discussing how they're prepared to front Supernova. I'd say it's a good thing Magni has his bags packed.
