It's Destiny!'s own Liza and Tammy continue their coverage of Rock Star: Supernova. Following is Tammy's take on this week's reality episode.

BITTER TEARS
(Recap by Tammy)
Well, who hasn't been waiting for this? What exactly happened after the smackdown of Dilana on the Rock Star stage? The reality show this week is full of drama, and doesn't disappoint.
As the rockers sit down for dinner post elimination show, there is an uncomfortable silence. An on-edge Dilana is looking like she's about to burst, and her housemates don't know exactly what to say to her. She reiterates that she's 'too honest' (seriously, does that excuse ever work?). (I hate that excuse. Honesty is one thing; tactfulness, bad manners and lack of common sense are another thing. And while it may "excuse" why she said that stuff about the other rockers to the media, it doesn't explain why she made her comments to Ryan about his song and having more fans than him. How is that being honest if she wasn't even asked her opinion? - Liza) The rockers obviously feel for her, as Lukas states that he wishes he 'could take it back for her...because now she has to live with the consequences'. Dilana becomes overwhelmed rehashing it all, and not wanting to break down in front of the others, she makes a quick exit. We next see Dilana crying outside as Lukas attempts to talk to her. As Magni joins them, Dilana becomes agitated with the cameras catching her in her moment of weakness/vulnerability, and curses, flipping off Joe Cameraman, and smashes a glass. Poor Magni is caught in the crossfire and a shard bounces up and cuts his forehead. (Of all people to get physically harmed during Hurricane Dilana, it has to be the one person who has been visibly supportive of her. -Liza) The rockers are stunned at the outburst and this downward spiral of Dilana. Lukas wonders how she'll cope with the stress of being the lead singer of Supernova if this is how she copes with things. Upstairs, Dilana continues her mini-breakdown, weeping that she's sorry as Storm tries to comfort her. The boys are at a loss at what has happened to Dilana. Ryan figures that she can't handle being the frontrunner, and is 'self-destructing'. (Dilana was concerned after week one about the pressure of being a front-runner. Now I know why she was worried ... -Liza)
Whew, enough with the heavy stuff! The next day the rockers are joined by Famous Photographer, who will be shooting them for In Touch magazine. Storm is comfortable in front of the camera, as she used to model (as anyone who took her advice of 'Googling' her would know). Indeed, Storm is a natural in front of the camera, and likens posing to a 'performance'. Toby follows Storm, and looks a bit awkward, bouncing up and down on the sofa for his shots, but in the end the photographer is pleased. Lukas is next, and he claims that he doesn't have any experience in front of a camera (riiight) but delivers exactly what Famous Photographer needs, what Lukas calls a 'goth glam dirty rock shot'. Rolls right off the tongue, doesn't it? Posed in front of a piano, Ryan is told to be more smiley, which doesn't look especially natural for this boy. Magni is confident that he'll do well with his shots, as he has a lot of experience. 'Scream...without screaming', he is told. Magni: 'I'm not Harrison Ford!'. Hee! By all accounts the shoot doesn't go well for Magni, and only a few shots are decent. Still upset from the earlier dramas, Dilana has difficulty concentrating during her time with the photographer, but pulls herself together and everyone is happy.
Song selection this week was determined by the fans who voted online to determine what song their favorite rocker would be singing this week. The rockers gather in front of a huge computer monitor and await their fate. Lukas looks less than enthused to be on the receiving end of Nirvana's 'Lithium' (perhaps he, like everyone else is tired of hearing Nirvana every week?), and states that he'll put his own spin on the song. (He won't wear a hoodie and go crazy at the end of the song, he says. Hee! -Liza) Toby is happy to be singing Rebel Yell, while Magni is given Live's 'I Alone'. By an overwhelming majority, Storm gets 'Bring Me To Life' by Evanescence, and she appears a bit apprehensive at the choice and the vocal chops it requires. And by the narrowest of margins, Ryan winds up with Coldplay's 'Clocks'. Ryan wishes he could have done 'Losing My Religion' again (I loved it, but three times in one season? It wouldn't help him unless he sang it differently with the full House Band. -Liza), but seems up for the challenge the fans have given him. Dilana will be singing Tracy Bonham's 'Mother, Mother' this week, and says she was recharged by the positive comments from her fans (which were most likely written before DilanaGate, but eh, whatever, she could probably use a boost).
Rehearsing with the House Band, Lukas admits that he 'hates Nirvana' (and after hearing eleventy billion versions of their songs, I'm beginning to as well), and tries to arrange the song so that it is 'un-Nirvana'. His suggestions to change up the song are met with a bit of hesitation by the House Band, but Lukas is confident that he'll do well and he feels no pressure performing a song that Dilana did so well with previously. Practicing outside, Dilana thinks that she will 'kill' her song. She states that 'this horrific thing that happened to me...is the best thing that could have happened to me'. I take some issue with this. Nothing happened to her. Everything that occurred was a result of what she has done, and it's a little bothersome that she is trying to play the victim role here. Good grief! (WORD! The only thing that happened to her was that her smackdown was aired to the free world. But she signed up for it, and it's not like she didn't know all of this would be on television! -Liza) That said, she sounds quite good rehearsing, and will no doubt bring her trademark intensity with her performance.
The show closes with footage from the glam photoshoot with the rockers posed together, all very elegant. Lukas has his hair slicked down and it looks very, very wrong. Famous Photographer suggests that they do some nude shots, and Ryan immediately whips off his jacket and is down with that idea (me, too!) (Me three! And he asked to be put in the middle of the shot too. Heh. -Liza). Toby and Lukas, who are rarely ill at ease, look ready to bolt. Fun times. Hopefully those shots of Ryan surface on the internet one day.
Will Lukas' rearrangement work (has it it ever not)? Will Dilana redeem herself (performance-wise, probably, personality-wise, it's anyone's guess)? The answers await us all on Tuesday, same bat time, same bat channel.
