It's Destiny!'s own Liza and Tammy kicked off a new non-Idol feature last week with their coverage of Rock Star: Supernova. Following is Tammy's take on the this week's results episode.

THE END IS THE
BEGINNING IS THE END
(Recap by Tammy)
Chris Pierson's second consecutive trip to the bottom three was enough to convince Supernova that he was not the right person for the band, and his journey towards rock superstardom with Supernova ended despite a valiant effort to save himself with his bottom three performance.
To kick off the show, Brooke Burke announces that voting was up 40%. The rockers are happy. This also could mean, however, that pretty much no one voted last week. But the 'glass is half full' school of thought works too. The clip montage from last night shows the good, including Magni, Dilana, and Toby Rand, and the not so much, such as Zayra Alvarez (whose slams at the band are hilariously featured once more), along with Chris, Jill Gioia, and Lukas Rossi.
After the show, the rockers back at the mansion weren't happy with their criticisms.. Lukas has always sung that way! He brings the boat! (And the goat! - Liza) Jill has no idea who Courtney Love even is! Chris remains one of the best singers in the world! Toby Rand tells the other rockers that they shouldn't be 'pig-headed' and realize that they're there to learn and grow. Dave gives the wounded rockers an opportunity to speak their mind on the show, and all don't waste a moment...to backpedal. Lame. Supernova lauds Toby for having some perspective at Supernova's comments (which, a day later, are suddenly seen to be 100% constructive criticism, 'are you wearing panties?' and all).
Encore time. Tommy Lee deems that Toby had a 'killer performance', and that 'the ladies love him'. Toby takes the stage and performs 'Somebody Told Me' once more, about as well as the first time. (Notice how as soon as Supernova said "and the ladies love him", Toby starts stripping off his jacket. Presumptious much? - Liza)
Now that the fun is over, it's time to get down to business. Brooke announces who the bottom 3 were early in the voting. To no one's surprise, those 3 include Jill, Zayra, and Chris. However, as it did last week, the bottom 3 changed. The rockers look nervous. Jenny Galt's name is called and she takes her position next to the others. The first one having to sing for her supper is Jill, who looks a million times better with flat ironed hair. Trying, perhaps, to distance herself as far as possible from the mess that landed her in the bottom 3? Jill decides to sing 'Bring Me To Life', and has her best performance so far, while shots of an unhappy looking Zayra are peppered throughout. Jason Newsted gives Jill a standing o.
Zayra is next. She doesn't understand how she ended up in the bottom 3 this week, and in inexplicable Zayra style, will be singing the same song tonight that bounced her to this position in the first place. Jason hands out another standing o, and I can't figure out whether it's for her performance or for her making such a ballsy move by repeating her song.
Brooke tells Jenny that she's safe (but not without faking her out first, causing the audience to gasp...is the possibility of Jenny ending up in the bottom 3 really gasp-worthy?). Chris wanders over to center stage and will do a song that show the 'real' Chris, an acoustic version of 'If You Could Only See', (complete with the obligatory shots of Phil Ritchie). Chis sounds pretty good and is awarded a standing o from Dave Navarro (Jason must have been tired).
Jill's voice, Zayra's performance skills, and Chris' ability to listen to Supernova's advice are all said to be appreciated by the band. Tommy 'the hatchet man' Lee sends Jill back to safety. Chris is told he 'is the second to go' (which must be the new elimination catchphrase...and is seriously weak). Dave tells Chris his performance was 'his best yet'. Supernova offers up a sage 'there are no losers...the end is really the beginning' send off speech and Chris is sent packing.
